“The work of Westbrook Children’s Project is special because it uses a variety of data, both quantitative and qualitative, to really understand the needs of the community and respond to them in order to support children.”

About Westbrook Children’s Project

Westbrook Children’s Project (WCP) works together with community partners to support the whole child before, during, and after school so that Westbrook youth graduate from high school ready for success.

Over the past decade, our community has come together to support programs with life-changing impact for our youth. We now have over 75 partners and volunteers representing all sectors of the community who support our work. Our work is led by five work groups which are comprised of community partners who use data to help develop and implement strategies to achieve identified short- and long-term outcomes.

As we look forward to the next decade, we will build upon our strong history of supporting youth. Our work groups will continue to focus efforts on the needs of children of all ages, improving outcomes, and using data to drive decisions. Our steering committee will help guide community-wide efforts to provide the academic, social, and emotional support Westbrook youth need to succeed from cradle to career.

Together, we will continue to effect positive change for the next generation of students.
